Flash Design Assignment - December 2008
For this project we were asked to design a flash based website but because the requested resolution was insanely small, I've decided to spend time in integrating 3D vector objects with my design rather than following the conventional web site design structure. See my work by clicking on the

Maya Assignment - December 2008
Although I know the importance of 3D, I've never been a big fan, and there are areas such character design/setup which I find impossible to do! However, our course is designed in a way that personal interest and areas of specialty don't mean much, so we have to try a bit of everything anyway. This assignment was about designing a body rig for a character in Maya.

Combustion Assignment - December 2008
Second Assignment for Combustion. The topic was making a 30-60 trailer. Working with combustion becomes very hard when you have more than just a few layers, especially in a 3D composite, and it keeps crashing! Considering that I had most of the layers off, and had 4GB of ram dedicated only for Combustion, it seems that this software may require a specific hardware or it is just weak in handling and cashing the files. What I made for this assignment was inspired by the late 80s Super Heroes animations and comic strips. See the final render by clicking on the

Action Script Assignment - November 2008

Combustion Assignment - November 2008 [A+]
First Assignment for Combustion. The topic was making a 30 sec sequence. The clips that we were provided with were useless so Ii had to film my own material. Combustion is not a user friendly software which makes the workflow slow and sometimes even frustrating. See the final render by clicking on the

Film Making Group Project: The Letter - November 2007 [A+]
It took us s long a time to find a good story to start and after we started recording,
the story didn't go in the way that we wanted and I realized that my story board was full
of problems! So we started a new one! The new story was coming from the same idea but this
time we had a clearer idea of what we wanted, besides, on the second storyboard I didn't
make the same mistakes and tried to connect the scenes together and present "story telling"
camera angles which we improved them even more during the filming. I was in charge of
the storyboards and also the producer of this project. I tried to help everyone to do
their jobs better and basically take a care of the group to achieve a successful project
before the deadline.

Storyboard Assignemt - November 2007[A-]
Storyboard is the fundamental part of each planned programme. The aim of this project was to
design a story board for a documentary programme using the given topics. After finishing the
story board making the actual programme seemed to be easy, so I decided to produce a preview
of the programme. Click here to watch it online.
Maya Project 1 - October 2007[90%]

Stop-frame Animation - February-May 2007 [69%]
This was the final assignment for Visual Structure module. We were a group of 5 people, same people as our HTML
project, each with a responsibility. I was in charge of taking pictures. The story is about a paper clip under the idea of a journey?
which is the title of this assignment. The actual production of a stop frame animation was way harder than what we were expecting and
the outcome of 10 hours work was only about 30 seconds animation!. See the final version and also Behind The Scenes clips from the links below.

Package Design - December 2006
This was the final assignment for Visual Thinking module. A very enjoyable and challenging assignment which opened our eyes to many different aspects of designing a package for a new product based on a certain criteria. We had a short trip to Portobello Road, London and the ideas of our design were supposed to come from that atmosphere.
