Oxford is an amazing city and I will never forget the time that I spent there.I came to Oxford on January 2006 and stayed there for about 8 month. The city has a unique atmosphere full of inspirations and different feelings. I spent some of the best days of my life there.

Oxford's Best Memories

First time in a foreign country
Being in Oxford was the first time for me to be in a foreign country alone. I remember the first thing that I did after settling down was to go to find a coffee net to send some emails to the people who were important to me and were waiting to hear from me. I remember the feeling that I had on that first walk; nothing! Yes! It was absolutely nothing which was something unusual for me and I quite enjoyed it!

New Feelings
With passing the time I’ve experienced many different and new feelings which changed the way that I was looking at my life, however I’ve seen the outcome of these changes after I returned to Kingston on January 2007. Whenever I think about oxford I sense those feelings that I’ve experienced and I know that they may never have happened if I was somewhere else and the city has contributed a lot to it.

The College
I’ve experienced a very pleasant time during my study at Bellerbys College. I had very good teachers and almost everyone was very nice and helpful.

Good Friends
I really enjoyed my time with my good friends at the college. I also found one of my classmates in Iran which was a big surprise.

Places that I stayed
When I arrived to oxford I stayed at the college’s residence. Well, it was great, especially being with other people from around the world, but because of the unreasonable price of the rent I decided to leave. The story of how I found the next place is long and interesting but long story short; The next two places that I stayed were belonged to two lovely old ladies... I know it may sound scary to some people! but it wasn’t and I had a great time in both of them. My first landlady was Ms.Tanya Garland and I’ve learned a lot from what she did and didn’t for me. She was a good landlady and a great friend. I won’t forget the time that I spent in her house and if I come back to oxford someday, I will definitely per her a visit. The next place which I stayed only for two weeks was hosted by Ms. Philippa Redman. A very cosy and quiet place which was exactly what I needed before going to the university.

Graduation
Finally I graduated with fairly good marks to leave the oxford with only the good memories.
